Arsenal want Marquinhos to see out his loan with Nantes.
The Brazilian winger has battled for minutes since his arrival, with talk in France of Nantes sending him back to London in January.
However, Football.London says the Gunners want Marquinhos to see out his season-long deal.
Marquinhos has made a total of six appearances (one start), representing a total playing time of 90 minutes.
The winger also spent a month away with Brazil for the Pan-American Games in October.
