Man City have reached a full agreement on a record-breaking deal for Leeds United starlet Finley Gorman worth £1.2million in total, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that everything is now in place for the 15-year-old to join the Premier League giants following negotiations taking place over months.
The fee is a British record for someone of his age and comes after his impressive performances for the Whites' youth sides.
Daniel Farke's side are unhappy to see the youth sensation depart Elland Road and attempted to get him to stay in Yorkshire.
However, the allure of Man City convinced him to move following extensive on the deal behind the scenes, which included him visiting the Citizens' state-of-the-art training complex.
Gorman attracted plenty of attention on social media after footage of his displays was spread online.
The attacking midfielder has made five appearances for Leeds side in the under-18 Premier League and has notched two goals and one assist.
He has also featured for England's under-16 side this season earning starts in friendlies against Italy and Switzerland, having made his debut at this level aged just 14.
He has been deemed one of Leeds' most highly-rated prospects but will not be eligible for his first professional contract until his 17th birthday.
Leeds will face Rotherham in the Championship in their first clash after the international break while Man City will face second-place Liverpool.
